Angle Kayak Paddles
Angle is our own in-house paddle brand – exactly what the big companies do when they want to give customers proper quality without the big-company price tag.
We started Angle over five years ago because rental stations and everyday paddlers kept asking for the same thing: a paddle that can take serious abuse, stays light enough for all-day use, and doesn’t cost the earth when you need ten or twenty of them.
That’s exactly what you get.
Light alloy shaft, reinforced nylon blades, comfortable grip and clean two-piece design – nothing flashy, just a paddle that works season after season whether you’re a rental fleet hammering it every day or a family that wants something reliable without spending €150+.
Why Angle Has Become The Go-To Paddle For Rentals and Smart Private Buyers
- Durability is built in from the start. Thicker blade roots, stronger ferrule and tougher shaft material than most budget paddles. Rental guys tell us they’re still using the first batch after five full seasons of daily drops, sand and beginners.
- Weight stays reasonable – around 1000 g for the standard models. Light enough that your arms don’t burn after a couple of hours, heavy enough to feel solid when you’re pushing a loaded fishing kayak or paddling into wind.
- Blade shape is forgiving. Medium-size asymmetrical blades give good power without wrecking wrists on long days.
- Lengths cover everyone – 210 to 240 cm in 10 cm steps, plus junior sizes. High-vis blade tips available so you spot it quickly if it goes overboard.
What Most People Actually End Up Using
- Rental stations: 220–230 cm standard, plain black or blue. Buy still cheaper than ten of the big brands.
- Fishing kayak owners: 210–240 cm with high-vis blades and the stronger “Heavy Duty” version.
- Families & recreational paddlers: 220–230 cm regular, sometimes the glass shaft version when they want a bit less weight.
- Touring & sea kayakers on a budget: 220cm low-angle blade option.
Every Angle paddle floats, has drip rings and a solid rubber grip that stays comfortable even when wet.
Choose the Angle kayak paddle that fits your boat, your height and the kind of days you really do. You’ll wonder why anyone pays double for a name on the shaft.
