The CRESSI Fiji thermal snorkeling mask features an advanced FoGstop anti-fog lens system. A membrane system directs the airflow toward the lower part of the mask, keeping it away from the lenses. Another membrane isolates the eye pocket so that warm exhaled air never comes into contact with the lenses, significantly reducing fogging.

Another important anti-fog feature is the heat exchange structure at the top of the mask, which allows faster temperature equalization between the mask and the water. This system further helps to prevent fogging.

The mask comes with an elastic strap, making it easy to use, especially for beginners and individuals with long hair. While it can be used for diving, please note that the elastic strap is not as strong as a silicone strap.

Internal membranes

A patented membrane surrounding the inner nose pocket and both eye pockets acts as a barrier, capturing moisture that escapes from the diver’s nose when breathing through the mouth. The moisture is redirected away from the lenses, preventing fogging and reducing the need for pressure equalization.

To further improve anti-fog performance, CRESSI recommends applying an anti-fog solution or a small amount of saliva to the inside of the lenses before first use, followed by rinsing with water.

Heat exchanger

The external part of the skirt features a cooling system with two small heat exchangers that act as radiators. This keeps the mask’s internal temperature lower and closer to the outside temperature, helping capture moisture before it can fog the lenses.
